Four years of Flava in Atlanta and the final Flava Invasion: Chaotica was a great time. The shows ranged from a variety of everything from straight salsa to afro to modern and the workshops as all the previous years, were packed. It was great to see some old friends from Atlanta and nearby areas and of course, finally dance again. |

For my final trip for 2008, I couldn't think of a better way to spend it than among friends in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico. The GDL Salsa Fest was a small event but the dancers and the instructors that participated in it were all fantastic and I enjoyed passing the week with all of them. Thank you Tony and Lalo for the invitation and a huge thank you to everyone for being so welcoming and understanding. |

Spain was a really fun trip and although the San Sebastian organizers cancelled last minute the rest of the trip went fairly smoothly. The congress in Lorca was small and intimate and the week in Malaga passed too quickly. It was a great week of salsa and relaxation and a chance to catch up with old friends and make some lovely new ones. I'm looking forward to going back but hopefully, next time it'll be during warmer months. |

It was an intense but salsa-fun-filled weekend at the 10th Anniversary of the Japan Salsa Congress organized by George Watabe, Albert Torres and an outstanding team of volunteers that bent over backward to make sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone felt well taken care of. It was a great weekend. Thank you to everyone who attended this year's event. Dance for life! |

Back in Singapore for the Singapore International Salsa Festival and what a great time. The Bronx Horns played an awesome set on Saturday and Sunday night and the performances and workshops were all well attended and awesome to watch. Great job Quebec Leisure, NTUC and JJ Salsa at putting together a memorable event. |
