I will have the pleasure of attending the 8th Annual Berlin Salsa Festival hosted by Franco of Pura Salsa.  The Berlin Salsa Festival has a history of being a fun filled weekend of salsa with great instructors like Hacha y Machete, Super Mario, Neeraj, Yamulee and many others.  This will be my first time offering my workshops in Germany; I'm looking forward to it.  If you would like to set up private lesson or group training, please contact me.

The Chicago Salsa Congress was the first major congress that I had attended outside of Toronto in 2004 and in 2008, it is still one of the congresses where I have a great time.  To top it off, this year, the live band on Sunday night was none other than Roberto Roena y Su Apollo Sound.  Hats off to the organizers for doing such a great job with a congress that is almost entirely run by volunteers!

Hong Kong is a busy city in every way and while I was there, I was no exception.  I had one of my busiest weeks of my trip in Asia with many hours of privates and many hours of workshops that were organized by Fun4U Productions.  All in all it was a great time and I'm glad that I had a chance to experience it.

Singapore is always a welcoming country and this weekend of workshops, performances and parties with Attitude Dance Studio reinforced my sentiment.  It was great to spend time with all of my Singaporean friends as well as the many people that came in from Malaysia, the Phillipines and even Dubai.  We'll do it all again at the 2008 Singapore International Salsa Festival in October.

What can I say about Shanghai other than it was an amazing trip and that the people there were so warm and friendly it almost felt like home.  Thank you very much Gene and Lily (HotSalsaClub) for organizing the workshops and parties.  I hope to be back there soon to see you and everyone else again.  Thank you to everyone for the wonderful gifts and the huge surprise for my birthday.  You are all such incredible people and on top of that, very good dancers too! Love you all!
