I have taken a good number (30-50?) of salsa lessons over the past two years, at about six different schools. I have admittedly never completed a full cycle of classes with any one school, but rather, have jumped around from school to school taking classes when my schedule allowed. And yet it still surprises me that after all those classes, not once did I see a teacher actually spend time talking to us about "form", other than the occasional corrective remark to someone in class. "She breaks everything down."There was never any in-depth discussion of posture, how to hold your arms and what to do with your legs and feet during spins, or anything to do with "good resistance" between partners. This is where Magna comes in, and fills-in an unfortunate gap in so many people's dance training. I have had two privates with her thus far. She breaks everything down for you in a very technical way, and when she corrects you, it's never done in a superior type of manner. Magna is a pleasure to work with, and I always leave our classes a better dancer! Best, Lynn
